The 2010–2011 academic year is the second year of the City Systems project at the Institute without Boundaries (IwB). This year’s project attempted to understand how to build more resilient cities. The team’s focus was on resolving the challenges facing Lota, a municipality in Chile.

People Change Places is a design strategy rooted in immediate collective action to catalyze the implementation of six strategic objectives that will foster resilience in Lota.
